Appointments

Appointments with a GP, Nurse or other clinicians can be made either at reception or by telephone.

We offer urgent on the day appointments every day. These appointments will be triaged by reception staff who are trained to signpost to the most appropriate clinician or clinical service.

We also offer advance pre-bookable appointments.

We offer early morning appointments on alternate Wednesday and Friday from 7.30am

Practice Nurse is Monday and Wednesday 

Phlebotomy appointments are Monday and Friday  

Treatment room sessions are Tuesday and Friday 09.30-10.30am

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Teaching

We are involved in teaching students from Glasgow University. If this involves a student sitting in on a consultation you will be advised when you arrive. You have the right to refuse any student sitting in on a consultation.
